How much to tip for a spa package and where to leave it?

I'm going to a spa for 1h long massage and facial. Do you tip? How do you tip at a spa? Where do I leave the money? On the bed, or take it to the desk??! Thank You!

1. To tip your massage therapist, you should tell the person at the front desk when you pay. They will give you an envelope to put the tip in. Seal it and write the therapist's name on it. They will make sure he/she gets it. 15% is a standard tip rate for a massage. If you would like to tip the person who is helping in the spa area, you would give it directly to that person when you are leaving the spa area. $1-$5 should be fine.
